Bāuls of Bengal
The magic of the indigenous vocal heritage of the Bāuls continues to inspire simplicity and authenticity in the human approach to God. In 2017, The Old City Collective presented this rich tradition in Toronto with Kanaidas Baul and Parvathy Baul sharing devotional mystic songs with a highly engaged audience. The presentation held at the Children's Peace Theatre was generously supported by the Ontario Arts Council.
